Sources: the Seattle Seahawks are not expected to tag Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III, who now is poised to become an unrestricted free agent when the new league year opens.

Meanwhile back at the headquarters the rumors are that we don't get anything for KM

It's not like this just came up

Monti's rep sinking lower than it was
Can't trade what nobody wants. You can't tell me you believe he's not trying. Of course he could be limited my MB as well. He's going to have to be willing to spend some money to make it happen.

Exactly. Why would anyone trade for him when they know he's going to be cut? They don't have to give up any draft capitol or take on a cap hit. There's not been one inkling of Murray being on the 2026 roster from the Cards. Everyone knows he being let go.

Breaking: The Colts are placing the transition tag on QB Daniel Jones, sources told
@AdamSchefter
.

The transition tag is $37.83M, more than $6M cheaper than the QB franchise tag, but gives Jones the opportunity to sign an offer sheet with another team that Indianapolis would then have the right to match.

Dude I’d sign this in eight nanoseconds if I were Dimes.

The #Bears are hosting free agent center Tyler Biadasz on a visit, source said. The former #Commanders starter was recently released and now is available before the frenzy begins.

For those who may wonder why I like to discuss positions to not take in round 1 of drafts, this is an example why.

Quay Walker was a 1st round LB who has had a good career. He will walk because of his position and the expected salary that potentially comes with it.

Linderbaum is the same as a 1st round interior lineman.

Better bet is to let someone else take these positions in round 1 (if you can) and then be the team to sign them to the 2nd contract.

Sources: #Cowboys are not planning to tender C/G Brock Hoffman as an RFA, making him an unrestricted free agent.

Hoffman started 14 games over the last two years, proving to be a valuable depth piece at C, LG and RG. Just 26 years old, he should have some real interest.

The Patriots are preparing to target Alec Pierce in free agency after releasing their WR1 Stefon Diggs, per
@Schultz_Report
.

The Colts could be on the verge of losing one of their best offensive weapons to New England.

Linderbaum and Pierce would be my first day targets
If we sign Pierce we need to trade away either MHJ or Wilson, Pierce is going to get paid north of 25 million a year to be a WR1. Somebody in that room is going to be relegated to a 60% snap share as the WR3.

Rashid Shaheed is said to not be close to an extension with the Seahawks and the expectation is that he now will test the free agent market Monday, per sources.

just to temper everyones' expectations on free agency:

Gambo yesterday did a segment on the Cards cap situation by starting out saying that the release of Kyler is "really, really bad for their cap" and that what is there will go quickly because the #3 pick is paid a lot. Plus you need a reserve for IR during the season....... "They just cant fit Malik Willis in at $20mm per season -- there isnt room."

I don't know what I was more annoyed at:

Gambo's complete misunderstanding of how the cap works,

or,

his transparent attempt to cover for the organization when it doesn't really spend much on free agents.
