Actually it was incompetent GM, Tony La Russa and top stooge Dave Stewart responsible for that train wreck of a trade because they had a hard on for Shelby Miller. But I'm sure they would have eventually lost him in free agency so the cheap ass owner would have eventually been to blame for Swanson ending up somewhere else.

Man, if Jerry Golangelo would have just kept the Suns and Diamondbacks I'm sure we'd have a couple of NBA and MLB titles in the last 20 years.
