...According to The Washington Post, Snyder's lawyers are seeking the dismissal of Dave McKenna, a writer for the Washington City Paper, who authored a lengthy piece on Snyder's countless debacles since taking over the Redskins in 1999. A lawsuit against City Paper's owners for defamation is being considered but has not been filed.

The City Paper published McKenna's "Cranky Redskins Fans Guide to Dan Snyder" in November. It was an encyclopedic A-Z look at Snyder's "many failings" and featured a picture of him with penciled on devil horns and goatee. McKenna chronicled most of Snyder's missteps, most of which already were on the public record. This piece wasn't reporting as much as it was collecting...

I love how he takes an old article from a free alternative paper with limited scope which pinpoints pretty much every dumb action he's made while owner of the redskins (and some even before that) and by his own actions turns it into a national story during super bowl week

I'm sure the author thanks you and it's not like they are scared about being locked out of the redskins world, i'm sure you weren't really giving the much access to begin with and they don't really have papers to sell (but you definitely increased their web traffic)

even if you were going to sue, you'd have to pick out the portions that you felt were not-truthful .... then in the courts they'd go through and look at them one by one .... so even if you did manage to get a couple stricken, it would then be shown that the overwhelming majority of it's true and that you are indeed a jerk

however, by not suing you are kind of stating that you've seen the reports, they've upset you, you don't feel they are fair or truthful .... but you're not going to do anything about it other than make idle threats ...... why? - if it's not true, then defend your name

this was a sleeping dog that he should of just let lay ..... it's not like a bunch of city paper readers who are big dan snyder fans are going to pick this up and feel duped and change their opinions on you .... it's only really going to speak to those who really don't like you anyway
