BA is absolutely correct. Without a Johnson or Gurley, you can still finish a runner up in the Super Bowl.

There is no issue with saying "I dont need a star RB to win games"

I'm saying it here first...... The retirement home of the NFL has moved to Tampa.

BA will struggle, the team will stink..... And Winston will be an abomination.

Top 3 pick is what I see for the Bucs. Maybe 4 wins.

Yeah I just don't see BA having much success in Tampa. I think it's going to be a dumpster fire down there.

I actually think that Tamp Bay will do well this year. Getting Todd Boyles to run their defense is a big plus as he is one of the best. The key will be if BA can make Winston a competent QB.

Tampa's issue is the division they play in.

I think Arians will lead the Bucs to 8-8ish type seasons.

He's a very good coach, but his offense relies too much on the big pocket passer standing around and making big throws while taking big hits. If you look back on the reason that Arians was fired by the Steelers, they fired him because they wanted an offense where Ben wasn't taking as many big hits. Palmer took a ton of big hits to get rid of the deep passes Arians dialed up. I just don't believe in Winston enough to think that they are going to excel.

The Bucs defense has serious issues rushing the passer AND covering receivers. That's not a recipe for success in the NFL right now.

Starts slow and finishes with 10 wins.

I can't see a 10 win season for BA with that schedule
Week 1 - SF - TB W (i give him this one, because I don'T trust Garappolo or SF to win this, they should but yeah)
Week 2 - TB - CAR L (it seems like Cam is comeing back and he owned Bowles D twice with us, he will own a slower D with less talent)
    Week 3 - NY - TB W
    Week 4 - TB - LAR L
    Week 5 - TB - NO L
    Week 6 - CAR - TB L
    Week 7 - Bye
    Week 8 - TB - TEN W
    Week 9 - TB - SEA L
Week 10 - ARI - TB W (let it be a win for now)
    Week 11 - NO - TB L
    Week 12 - TB - ATL L
    Week 13 - TB - JAC W
    Week 14 - TB - IND L
    Week 15 - TB - DET L
Week 16 - HOU - TB L (If Watson stays healthy ... he is easy the wey better QB and overall the team is better)
Week 17 - ATL - TB W (at home they can win against Atlanta)

That makes it a 6-10 season, let them win against Detroid and Houston and they are 8-8 and that sounds about the range that they could go, if Winston is the nucklehead he showed till now, this could even turn out in a massacre, since a QB that can't digest BA offense looks like a lost wood out there in a termites territory.

Look BA is a good HC or was, but his tendencies and so on, made us very forseable in the run and pass game and even with one year off football, I don't think that people forgot his tendencies.

Yep. Only the Saints will have a larger chip on their shoulder than K1. Only major injuries to very key players will stop them this year.

I'll always be grateful for the exciting football he brought to AZ, but I think this comment by JG hits the nail on the head for me. Especially the last sentence!

As I said before and in the PFF Rosen thread....... BA is going to have his hands full with Jameis.

And Todd is going to have major problems with those CB's trying to run his blitz packages. Especially since they lost Kwon Alexander.

No Pat, No Honey Badger, No good.

    3 to 4 wins. Maybe 5.

If this were to happen, and I'm not saying it can't, then I could see BA's health issues flaring back up & he heads into full-time retirement after 1 season in Tampa.

So true! Watching paint dry would be more fun than watching the 2018 Cardinals.
