Completely off-topic but nonetheless, I still can’t believe that Aaron Rodgers can easily throw a ball 73 yards in the air with a perfect spiral….. Yet most deep balls we see Kyler throw nowadays are fluttering…. That guy is 41 and the oldest player in the NFL… Sheesh

Also, I don’t know what happened in the last two years but Thursday night games have sure gotten entertaining!

That was another great Thursday night game and those two dudes are ageless.

But I think my favorite moment of the game was Al Michaels scoffing at the idea of Aaron Rodgers disappearing into the shadows when he retires.

Rodgers and Flacco are amazing but am I the only one who watched that and thought Chase is amazing? He is literally open on every play. They played man, they played zone they played safety over the top and he's still open all the time.

Also, what an absolute, brilliant, smart play by Tee Higgins at the end of the game, sliding to the ground instead of scoring the touchdown, which I think he could’ve easily done leaving about a minute and a half on the clock….. genius

Speaking of quarterbacks that outperformed Kyler, Flacco's performance was incredible and he's been on the team for ten days.
Now compare the Cards receiving room to Cincinnati's...lol The Bengals receivers, top to bottom are all aggressive dogs who go after the ball. Cards don't have anything close, except Trey. Chase is insane and Higgins would easily be #1 in AZ.

He would be my vote for the best player in the NFL right now.

There was a player between him and the goal line. He would have had to fight for it, but it was nonetheless smart. I was screaming at the TV to go down.

Yeah, with the angle and his momentum and speed moving forward from like the 5 yard line I don’t think there’s any way he was getting stopped… But nonetheless, just a super smart play

He could have made a cut for the pylon and probably scored. He wouldn't have walked in though.

He had 1 drop but its just remarkable everyone on the field knows they're throwing to him and he's still open and often WIDE open. AS they were saying he's a great receiver always open and then when he catches the ball he's like a RB.

They do a great job of moving him around and using him on a lot of different routes. They also give him opportunities to run after the catch which is a strength of his.

He's 1A/1B/1C in top receivers in the league. Not that it's a hot take, but he made a lot of big plays during the SB year (and in general).

In another universe, we grab Bosa, Burrows, and Chase.

In no universe that doesn’t happen, unless you expected us to go back-to-back years with the #1 pick after snagging Bosa, which is really difficult to do.

Yeah, well this totally real fake one it did, lol.

We could definitely take the #1 pick the following year for Burrow. Although, the coach would be way different, but say we keep Rosen.

Injury or Burrow/team pulls a first season Aikman, boom, Chase. Plausible at least.
