Does the Cardinals stadium have a non-alcoholic/family friendly section? I thought at one time they did...When I lived in San Diego, I would always get tickets in that section of Qualcomm Stadium.

My old seats were in the family section. I used to bring my young kids with me and I wouldn't sit anywhere else with them. SAFE was pretty good about moving idiots out of that section pretty quickly.

That's one of the reasons I gave up my season tickets several years ago. Got tired of all the BS that goes on in the stands.
The worst incident of all was after a Cards/Chiefs game in 2006 - https://www.footballdb.com/games/boxscore/kansas-city-chiefs-vs-arizona-cardinals-2006100809

Post game we were waiting around for the parking lot to clear out, and most were exiting peacefully. There were two lines of cars alternating to get to an exit, and a Cards fan decided he wasn't waiting his turn, and instead of waiting, smashed his car right into another fan and then took off.

That really was the last straw for us.

I guess you haven't heard of soccer hooliganism in the UK. Makes the US fights look pretty tame.
I guess you didn't know that the reason why they changed the rules in the UK to only allow them to drink in the concourse, is to prevent this hooliganism.

that SF video is disturbing -- in the sense that the dude in the foreground just waits around for a chance and then decides to yank a woman backwards by her hair

then later, the guy in the black who comes down the stairs and decides that its time to jump in and kick someone when they are down

so its not just the fighting, but also bystanders (?) who feel compelled to get in on the action but in the most cowardly way

Nope. A death means nothing. More fighting.

I used to think it was just Raiders fans that were scumbags, but Niners fans are just as bad.

If you will notice, I don't use the "we" or "us" language when I refer to the Cardinals. I do that on purpose; their losses are not my losses.

How fitting that he's wearing a Sherman jersey? He also takes a swing at another person then sets down his beer to hold someone on one side of the railing and punch them from the other side. Classy guy who injected himself into the fight. But, yeah, yanking that woman down the aisle by her hair was a total trash move. Hopefully, he is found, and something is done.

In all honesty, Niner fans are worse than Raiders. We have a bunch here in the 505. I think most Raider fans are just the fake gangers that wear the apparel to look "hood". The Niner fans are the real hoodlums.

I stopped going to games after a dude grabbed my phone out of my hands in sec 405 and threw it into the 100 section. That was the final straw for me. It wasn’t so much my phone but me looking at this guy (who was on the ground being choked out by his own jersey) knowing I could easily destroy him and it would negatively impact my entire life. Alcohol consumption is no excuse. I spend all day drinking on my boat trolling around on my electric motor and manage to not have any type of confrontation with anyone… people need to get trespassed from any stadium for a year IMO.
