About the same size as Peat and Fleming.

Seems likely there would be some connection between Duop and Maluach.

I thought Duop was a 7 footer. He was billed as that when he came into the league. Looks like another victim of the league cracking down on measurements.

He has experience as a C though.

I read he has 1 more year eligible as a Two-Way player so there's a chance we waive one of our other Two-Way players to make room.

I think his inside track is both him and Maluach were born in South Sudan. He could be a good mentor, or at least company to a young guy on the road.

When going against Wimby your better off with someone that can shoot outside and is quick. Like to know how Duop did against the giant in San Antonio.

That's great on offense, but you need a guy that can move his feet against Wemby. I have no idea if that is Reath. Ideally, you get Rasheer to hit those threes, and let him slow Wemby down, and get help from timely double teams.

Be interesting to see who guards Wemby. Not sure ManMan has the foot speed, but he can shoot the three on offense. So someone on the Spurs has to leave the box.

I've heard podcasters speculate on Man Man guarding Wemby. So far it seems to me, that smaller (almost everyone is smaller than Wemby) quicker guys playing up tight when he his away from the low post do better slowing him down when he's trying to dribble in, and then you time a big to come try and pressure his shot. It's also weird the Spurs seem to have whole time periods in games when they don't get him involved in the game. That seems to help, too. I don't think the Spurs maximize his usage on offense.

As good as he is, they have at least a couple of guards that are probably already ahead of ours when it comes to NBA playoffs experience and prowess. Castle and Harper are two way studs.

Which podcasters? You reference podcasters a lot, which is fine, but I'm curious who youre listening to. Some commentators deserve to their views amplified and looked into while some aren't worth the listen.

If you don't recall which one laid out a specific claim then maybe you can share who you listen to regularly so we can see who you're putting stock into.

I haven't listened to many through the years but for some reason, I've been checking out the Suns related podcasts this summer. I'm curious too, which ones do you consider credible or worthwhile? I don't have much of a feel for any of them since there's no real Suns news to feed a daily discussion but from a presentation standpoint I think I prefer the PHNX group.

I think it depends. I really like The Timeline but I wouldn't give them much more credibility than other fans. I was more curious who Yuma listened to since he regularly references "podcasters" generically, sometimes as a source and othertimes as just another voice to back his idea.

Dude, I use generic besause I have 8 hours at work and I need to fill the time. So I never exactly remember who said what. Here goes:

Kellan Olsen and some dude do a podcast togetrher I listen to.
I listen to the Locked on Suns
Empire of the Suns
Locked on NBA
Legler has a pod Iisten to when Suns are on.
Youtube, I search on Suns and see what comes up. Sometimes I get the guys from AZ Repoublc doing showa
There's one with Nash and Lebron I occaisonally listen to.

I tend to go with guys who are actually at Suns games, and reputable guys like Amick, Legler, Nash, etc. I don't do, hey my name is sammy and I just like to talk Suns dudes. For example most of the PHX guys just strike me as just opinion guys. I like to get some nuggets of news thrown in.

Most the time I quote people it's not my idea. It's what I am hearing and reading. I may not even agree with it. I think there's merit in mentioning what others are saying about the Suns. Many times I will say, don't shoot the messenger, but here's what I am hearing or reading.

That's fair. I'm not trying to shoot the messenger at all which is why I'm asking where some of the theories originate. I asked because I thought of you listed where you heard X idea it would take any potential heat off you. Sometimes you share interesting theories also and I know I'd like to dig deeper but I don't want to ask where you heard it each time that happens. I was more hoping you'd start crediting the pods specifically when mentioning them.

I hate my memory. I will catch onto an interesting point. I remember the point. But being a life long bad at names guy, I usually don't remember the person who made the point. :(

agree...when you start always hitting with "where'd you hear that"?? it can start to sound confrontational...and thats usually a tone to avoid hitting on accident

There does appear to be some progress here. But the the shot release is still too low.
