The Boston Celtics are planning on sending vet Boston guard Jrue Holiday back to the Portland Trail Blazers for Portland guard Anfernee Simons and a pair of second round draft picks, per recent reporting from The Stein Line's Jake Fischer. The Celtics shed salary in anticipation of a potentially historic tax bill while also getting younger, but stand to get worse defensively in the bargain while adding some volume shooting from beyond the arc (assuming Boston retains Simons, which is not guaranteed).

The Blazers, conversely, get better defensively, but also find themselves on the hook for the substantial amount still on Holiday's contract. Are the Celtics done making moves this offseason, or are there still other shoes to drop? What else do we need to know about this deal?

The hosts of the CLNS Media "How Bout Them Celtics!" podcast, Jack Simone and Sam LaFrance, did their best to answer these questions as news broke about the deal. Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what they had to say.
