STILLWATER — Oklahoma State has secured its quarterback in the 2026 recruiting class.

Kase Evans from Lexington, Texas, announced his commitment to the Cowboys on his X account Sunday afternoon, bringing to an end a quickly developing recruitment.

Since the 4th grade I have trained hard to reach my goals. I’m so blessed and thankful to Him above when big goals like this happen. to my parents, trainers, coaches and everyone who has helped me get here! % committed to Oklahoma State University‼️#GoPokes#SaddleUppic.twitter.com/9YtinznItS

OSU extended its offer to the 6-foot-3, 198-pound Evans on May 21 and pursued the under-the-radar prospect.

The Pokes were the first Power 4 program to offer Evans, who had a long list of mid-major offers from programs like Texas State, Tulane, Arkansas State and others.

Lexington is a small town located about an hour east of Austin with a Class 3A high school.

Evans threw for 3,113 yards and 37 touchdowns with seven interceptions last season. He does not yet have a rating from any recruiting services, a fact that is likely to change following his commitment.
