Whether you're in Loud City, watching from the bar or cheering on the OKC Thunder from home, Oklahoma City is one of the best cities for basketball fans, according to a new study.
WalletHub's newest study compares NBA team hometowns based on several factors, including stadium/arena size, ticket pricing, attendance and more. According to the study, Oklahoma City ranks in the top 10 cities for basketball fans and other categories.
"Basketball is one of the most beloved sports in the U.S., and while you can enjoy watching it from anywhere, there’s something truly special about living in one of the best cities for basketball fans. Being able to see top teams in huge arenas with hordes of dedicated fans is an incredible experience," WalletHub Analyst Chip Lupo said in the report.

WalletHub reports that Oklahoma City ranked high in six out of seven different categories.
Oklahoma City was ranked the seventh-best city for NBA fans, according to the study. And while only a few cities can say they have some of the best fans, Oklahoma City Thunder fans are the 8th most engaged fanbase in the nation, according to WalletHub. This number was calculated by assessing sports teams' social media presence.
The average price for an in-person game is the 9th-best in the country. But WalletHub took the stat a step further with rounding in the price of a ticket, two beers, a hot dog and parking, showing Thunder fans get more bang for their buck at the Paycom Arena.
Other factors in the study show Thunder place high on the list of 148 cities. According to WalletHub, the capital city is:
