Eagles signed LB Zach Brown, formerly of the Redskins, to a one-year contract.
Released by the Redskins in a salary-cap move in March, it's somewhat surprising it took this long for Brown to find a new home. Brown doesn't turn 30 until after the season starts and graded out as Pro Football Focus' No. 3 off-ball linebacker out of 61 qualifiers last season, behind only Luke Kuechly and Bobby Wagner. After losing Jordan Hicks in free agency, Brown is a quality replacement in the middle of the Eagles' defense.

$3m from Philly where he'll replace and start because we signed their guy or $3m in AZ?

You make the business decision.

Easy! $3mm in AZ so I don’t have to watch Reddick be lost out there and insurance should Hicks do a stint on the sideline.

I don’t understand what we have against the guy. He’s been available a handful of times over the years and we avoid him like the plague.

I just need to breathe and let it go!

Maybe it’s Brown avoiding us like the plague

Wonder how much Fitz mate Suh would cost for a year. There are a few LBs there that could help also

Gotta question:

Can team trade away a draft pick right after they draft him? Any time limits (or other limits) on how soon after the draft they can trade him?

Here’s an interesting one. The #Raiders are working out free agent G Richie Incognito today, sources say. Incognito didn’t play last season after he retired, un-retired and then was cut by the #Bills. But word is he’s in shape and feeling well in all aspects. Wants to play again.

Starting tomorrow any free agent(s) signed after May 7 doesn’t count, either for the new team or the old team, toward the compensatory picks, either team will won’t receive for 2020.

#AZCardinals could still address certain positions at some point; DL, ILB, DB & OL.

Sam Wyche and Company was on NFL Network earlier speculating that the best fit for Suh would be the Arizona Cardinals and speculating that he could be a possible landing spot here

Not sure the Cards can afford him and I don't see him giving a discount to one of the worst teams in the league. Would be nice though.

Sources: The #Seahawks have emerged as the front-runner to sign star FA DE Ziggy Ansah. They visited with him in late April and need a big-time pass-rusher after dealing Frank Clark. The contract has not been finalized yet. He also visited with the #Bills, who remain interested.
