This really sucks, this team now has to pay him big bucks while he's free to go wherever he wants where his next team gets him for pennies. Well played, Kyler.

KM - 1
Cards - 0
If he leaves his next team, they might even get a compensatory draft pick, I think.

Cardinals will need to account for about $54.7 million in dead money for Murray. Even with a post June 1 they still have to account for $47.5 million this year.
Yup that’s almost all cash paid this year not prorated bonus money. Michael is so stupid.

Any help at QB is coming from a has-been like Jimmy G and/or a mid-round draft pick. We’re not spending $75 million on QBs this year. Monti is a clod.

No matter if we and much of the NFL thinks Kyler might be cheeks, I want a GM who can do something well.

He can't draft well.
He can't sign well.
He hasn't hired many that can develop well.
You'd think maybe he could be creative or simply sell another GM on a guy like Kyler to garner a draft pick.... or Hopkins, etc, etc. He hasn't.

Monti needs to show that he can do something well. Well, except for losing, he's great at that.

I’ll never forget his one playoff game: Masterpiece.
The strangest thing about Cards fans is how grateful we were to Carson Palmer (his name is in the freaking RoH somehow) when he moved on yet so bitter and hostile towards Kyler.

Even though Kyler probably had a slightly better run than did Palmer despite having Kliff and 1.5 years of DHop vs Arians and Fitz.

Assuming this is true:

When I speak to organizational failure this is it. Petzing was hired and Gannon himself said he wanted to implement something that looks like the Eagles: heavy running attack and then big pass plays off of that.

When Petzing benched Kyler in order to pursue some pass-heavy offense we basically decided to go 180 on how the team and scheme was supposedly built.
No our RBs got hurt couldnt run the ball.

I’m usually on the same page with you but Palmer was better than Kyler.

Palmer was 38-21-1 as a Card with a legit MVP-caliber season in 2013 with 32 year old Fitz, John Brown, and Michael Floyd.

Kyler was 38-48-1 as a Cardinals and played MVP ball for six weeks before completely collapsing.

Obviously there’s a lot of racism and generational angst mixed in.

Yep, we could easily become the Browns next…like 20 qbs in like the next 15 years. I hope not, but man I don’t trust our leadership.

So now we can start a
“ See I told you so” for every time Murray does something good.
Along with “See I told you he sucked” everytime he falls on his face.
Oh you can bet the week he falls on his face someone will be in here gloating. Much the same when he goes out and has a good game. its going to be sooooo fun :eyeroll

Murray isn't even the biggest ARIZONA Cardinals bust let alone Phoenix Cardinals bust or St Louis Cardinals bust let alone NFL bust

Az Cardinal bust Mount Sucksmore

Wendell Bryant #12. Starts 9 games in his career. Has 1.5 sacks for his career
Josh Rosen #10 career passing cards 2864
Chad Williams #98 overall 202 career receiving yards
Matt Leinart #10 overall 4065 career yards over 33 games
Buster Davis #69 overall 24 career tackles

Phoenix Cardinals is just 5 short years. 88-93

Tom Tupa QB #68 Career 3430 passing yards. 12 TDs to 25 ints
Walter Reeves #40 overall. 347 career receiving yards

I could keep going but there is no point.
