Should add if you read the story a good portion of the team was apparently fed up with JJ after last season so you would have thought when it became apparent Kyler was as good or better they would have just made the move but then as I said at the time I think they wanted to trade JJ and knew if they openly announced he was #3 it would lower his trade value.

5th round pick for a 23 year old former first rounder is an amazing fall from grace
Yup. Vikes had plenty invested in JJ. Especially when you consider they had Sam Darnold coming off a great year at QB and Daniel Jones in the mix and let both walk in order to turn things over to JJ. Now they have their hopes riding on KM. D'OH.

Comprehension is not your friend.

You nor I have any idea what would have happened if K1 would have played. I know he’s never gone 1-12 anytime in his career as a starter.
Man, comprehension isn't in your vocabulary when it comes to Kyler. Everyone sees it but you.

Despite the mediocrity I saw overall during Kyler Murray's last game, he still made a few great throws. I have never seen him in the NFL with that much time to throw. If he improves, MIN might be able to fight off CHI, DET for the division. Caleb's return, Detroit's defense are big factors.

You mean if you give a QB time to throw they can actually make plays?

Someone should let Monti know so he can get our next QB an oline.

Without Mason, Minny's running game has been putrid, and their O-line's interior three has been less than stellar.
It can only last so long. The good roster has helped initially, but game scripts change. Teams tend to catch on to Kyler Murray's tendencies when he's running for his life; one main reason a #1 has to be a stud and look the part. So they can stand tall, hang in there. Very important at the pro, SB type level.

Still going single read and throw/half-field. How long will it last?

Finally something valid instead of “he’s short”.

“He dresses funny”
“He posts on instagram”

K1 for sure needs to improve in this area and we will see if KOC can help him in this area.

He still needs to improve with his presnap reads which should help eliminate the above.

All questions that will be answered this season.

Those questions have long since been answered. Or should have been, if he could fix them.

Probably the most I have agreed with one of your posts regarding Kyler. (not that my agreement is important)

There are aspects of his game that needed to improve. Based on the support structure around Kyler in Arizona, this was not the place where he was going to be able to do that. Minnesota offers a significantly better opportunity in terms of roster, coaching, culture and defense for him to make those changes. We will see if he is able to do so in time.

Yes. From that game tape analysis it looks as if the Offensive HC has made changes to the playbook to accommodate KM. That is the same thing that was done by KK as his head coach and then with OC DP. Only a few of the 'bad' plays were shown

He still made some plays---but that is the disappointment with too many bad/missed plays as well. He still has not fixed his throwing mechanics and reverts to 'street ball.'

For the sake of his career, hope he can ride the coattails of the D. Also, the Vikes got rid of JJ after this game. They may be good-to-go with what KM and/or Wentz has to offer.

The majority of players dont thrive here and that is indisputable.

KOC resurrected Cousins and Darnold. We will see if he can do the same with K1.

If he can't then K1 can't be helped but to say AZ answered those questions is patently false based on the coaching that has been here.

Ya those 22 games resurrected has buns right out of town. :biglaugh:
Huh? Their first year together Cousins had one of this best years of his career and his most wins, so they threw another year on his deal because it. He then tore his Achilles the next year so they brought in Darold. Seems they did not trust a 35 year old to come back from that injury and be the same player. I have never been much of a Cousins fan, but KO was great for him in getting more money in the bank. He did lead the NFL in INTs in Atlanta in first year after KO too.

I could agree with everything except your patently false statement about what's, well, patently false. It isn't a matter of not thriving here. It was a matter of sucking out loud with negative tendencies. The Cards certainly failed Kyler a lot, as they do the fan base. Kyler also failed the organization, as he did the fan base. Both are true.

Don't think anyone is debating how good KOC is, but Cousins did plenty fine without him, which makes it far from the term "resurrected." You can say that about Darnold, sure, and I'd also say that was the first team he had any real support.

Cardinals have been bad, but we had some decent teams around him good enough to compete. Kyler needs a super team to compete, hence the worst offense in the league and sitting at 3-0.

That is fair, how about "elevated Cousins"? And for the record, I feel if KOC cannot do it for Kyler, there might not be anyone else that can.

That 92 rating for 2022 and 29 TDs but 14 ints. The point was he said resurrected career. I'm a cousins fan, I wanted us to go after him. I guess I would not call 22 games and out the door as a resurrection.
