We have received some rain the past couple of days in Northern Arizona. Nothing major, although we received a nice shower today. What is interesting is I can't remember getting rain in May the past 25 years.

This has truly been a blessing and I hope it continues as it remains in the forecast for the next week.

Monsoon season normally doesn't start until the middle of June.

We had some sprinkles down here in Phoenix, major microbursts in Tucson.

It did seem rather monsoonish.

I hope it continues. It would be nice to see the weather in the Southwest produce more precipitation.

The monsoon last season was one of the best ever.

Btw, the temperatures have been on the cool side as well.

Was just in Prescott this last weekend, and even there it was cool for this desert boy.

My Grandmother lived by the mountains on the west side of Tucson. I used to sit on one of those fifties style metal chairs and watch the lightning shows by here house when it rained there! I think back on it and I tease my mom she left me sit out there in metal chairs watching the lightning!
