The DBacks are mired so far down in the NL West standings that it is time for Hazen to realize that 2025 isn't going to turn out like he planned - so it is time to get ready for 2026. It will be a busy offseason for the DBacks this winter, particularly in finding ways to improve the pitching - both SP and bullpen. Hitting has been sporadic at best, which offers another focus area for trades and/or free agent signings. I don't mind if Hazen continues to play some of the younger players this season to see if they really have a place on the team going forward. The tantalizing yet frustrating run to a World Series loss in 2023 ignited the fire under fans to see a culture of excellence in the organization. Lovullo has been the manager for almost 10 years, and is still under .500. Time for a change there, too.
