So I went to a charity event in scottsdale and immediately tried to silent bid on some sports stuff..There was a jake plummer signed jersey and football (both donated by jake personally) - and I was trying to bid on it..but someone informed me that there was a buy it now feature someone had exercised for $550.00...hello..$550? so I could not bid on the jake items.. (figured they were worth way less than they went for). he does not even play for the cardinals!
Since this was the only cards item there.. I focused on suns and dbacks items.. I ended up getting a signed Amare Stoudemire (spelling?) jersey (authentic suns jersey) and an official nba basketball signed by none other than shawn marion..--and it was for less than half of what the jake stuff went for (combined for both items)
I kind of collect cards stuff..but Jake Plummer does not even play for the cards..and I have a jake jersey and 2 team footballs signed by jake (from flagstaff). I assume a broncos or ASU fan paid up for the jake items.. I think I got a smokin deal on the marion and amare stuff..now don't you guys go bursting my bubble!
