BOSTON — The Bruins and the Canadiens rivalry is alive and well.

After Tanner Jeannot dropped Josh Anderson in a fight off the opening faceoff on Tuesday night, Nikita Zadorov got in on the action 10 minutes later.

The Bruins defenseman dropped the gloves at center ice with Arber Xhekaj. Zadorov landed some big right-handed shots before Xhekaj took his helmet off. Zadorov eventually got the takedown.

The two were each assessed a five-minute major for fighting.

Zadorov came into Tuesday’s game leading the Bruins in penalty minutes with 80.
