NFL experts predict the Eagles 2025 record after schedule release

The NFL's annual schedule reveal has become its own event. Now that the dates and times are set, experts and analysts from around the league will spend the next four months predicting and projecting the final records for all 32 teams.

Philadelphia has the fourth-hardest schedule in the league. It will open with Dallas at home and Kansas City on the road in a brutal slate of games that features no back-to-back home games for the Eagles. The Eagles will play on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, and depending on what the league does with the Commanders' matchups, they could have six primetime games.

We're looking at the NFL expert predictions with the schedule now revealed.

Eagles Wire: 13-4​

They will face the gauntlet of juggernauts in the NFC North and the AFC West and division winners in the NFC West, AFC East, and NFC South. NFL seasons are emotional swings, and Philadelphia will have key moments where things just aren't clicking, but they'll win 13-plus games.

Bleacher Report: 14-3​

Despite losing edge-rusher Josh Sweat, defensive tackle Milton Williams, guard Mekhi Becton, cornerback Darius Slay and offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, the Philadelphia Eagles have the collective talent and offensive continuity in the coaching ranks to remain atop the NFC East. Philadelphia retained most of its offensive core and promoted passing game coordinator Kevin Patullo, who has worked with Jalen Hurts for the previous four years.

In typical Howie Roseman fashion, he added depth to the trenches, taking fliers on guard Kenyon Green and edge-rushers Azeez Ojulari and Josh Uche.

ESPN: 11.5​

Tim McManus has the Eagles winning 11+ games.

The Eagles will have to fight out of a small hole at the beginning of the season. The Cowboys, Chiefs and Rams all have something to prove, with two of them in Kansas City and Los Angeles losing to the Eagles last postseason. Philadelphia will be adjusting to a new offensive coordinator in Kevin Patullo following the departure of Kellen Moore this offseason, while the defense will be breaking in several new starters. That could equal a loss or two early on.

Fox Sports: 11-6​

Ralph Vacchiano has Philadelphia losing six games in 2025.

One thing is certain about the defending Super Bowl champions: They’re going to have to earn everything they get this season. They have an incredibly hard schedule that has them facing seven playoff teams on the road. They face all four teams they beat during their Super Bowl run last season — at Green Bay, vs. the L.A. Rams, at Kansas City, plus their usual home-and-home with the Commanders, which comes in the final three weeks of this season. Plus they play at Buffalo in Week 17. It’s all brutal. The Eagles' record may not be as gaudy as it was last year, but they sure will be battle-tested for the playoffs.

NFL.com has the Eagles winning 11+ games.

Week 1’s win percentage represents Philly's highest forecasted odds of beating Dallas in their first matchup of the season (in any week) in at least 10 seasons. You’re welcome, Eagles fans. Over the next three weeks, the defending champs visit the Chiefs, host the Rams, then travel to the Bucs -- with each game presenting a much tougher task than the opener. It’s worth noting that the Eagles and Commanders don’t have their first matchup until Week 16 in Washington (with the follow-up set for Week 18 in Philly).

Sports Illustrated: 13-4​

The Eagles have a brutal first five weeks, including the Super Bowl rematch with the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 2. But the defending champs proved last season that they’re capable of brushing off slow starts—winning 10 consecutive games after a 2–2 start. There won’t be many favorable stretches, especially residing in the rugged NFC East, but the Eagles have the advantage of leaning on a stout offensive line and Saquon Barkley.

Philadelphia Inquirer: 13-4​

Two of the experts at the Inquirer have the Eagles going 13-4, while two others say 11-5.

CBS Sports: 12-5​

USA Today: 11-6​

Jacob Camenker has the Eagles going 11-6.

The Eagles should once again be among the NFC's best teams in 2025, but they will face a tougher path to contention.

Philadelphia is set to have the fourth-hardest schedule in the NFL for the 2025 season, per Sharp Football Analysis. Comparatively, they had the fourth-easiest schedule in the league last season en route to a 14-3 record.
