The Cleveland Browns had a visit with one of the top defensive tackle prospects as Oregon's Derrick Harmon came to Berea ahead of the 2025 NFL draft.

The Browns brought Harmon in for a top-30 visit on Tuesday, according to his Instagram account. Last season, Harmon helped anchor one of the best defensive line units. The 6-foot-4, 322-pound tackle is one of the best run defenders in college football.

He started his career at Michigan State, where he made 71 career tackles. This year, he transferred to Oregon and transformed his body, losing a lot of bad weight. Harmon was able to keep his strength and become a more explosive player. He proved to be a productive pass rusher, recording five sacks and 11 tackles for loss. Harmon is a force of nature in the middle of the field.

The Browns need help along the defensive interior. The team cut starting defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson, replacing him with Maliek Collins. The team has relied on veteran stopgaps to fill the role. Collins is a good player, but he just turned thirty. The team must get younger at the position. Harmon is expected to go between rounds one and two. If the Browns want Harmon, they must use the 33rd pick to secure him.
