The Los Angeles Rams head into the 2025 NFL season with relatively high expectations.
Following a disappointing end to the 2024 campaign, the Rams kept a lot of important pieces for 2025. Matthew Stafford, Alaric Jackson and Tutu Atwell all returned, while other key contributors were replaced with Davante Adams, Nate Landman and Poona Ford.
The core of the Rams is intact, meaning the team's path to defending their NFC West crown remains very high, so long as they don't incur a lot of injuries. Their 2025 schedule includes a lot of tough teams, but overall the Rams have a good shot at another good season.
As such, most NFL analysts think the Rams will win at least 10 games in 2025. Here are a few expert predictions.

As such, most NFL analysts think the Rams will win at least 10 games in 2025. Here are a few expert predictions.
Rams Wire's Cameron DaSilva: 11-6
"The Rams have some really tough games on the schedule, including a tough finish to the year with four road games in the final six weeks. They have to capitalize on a favorable start against the Texans, Titans and Colts in the first four weeks.
"In the end, we have them going 11-6, which would absolutely be good enough to make the playoffs in the NFC, potentially to even win the division."
Bleacher Report's Moe Moton: 11-6
The Los Angeles Rams have won 10 games in back-to-back seasons. Last year, they won the NFC West title with middling scoring offensive (20th) and defensive (17th) units.
"At 37, quarterback Matthew Stafford can still sling the ball, and the Rams upgraded at wide receiver, signing Davante Adams and releasing Cooper Kupp, who's missed at least five games in the previous three seasons.
"Though Adams is slightly past his prime, he had more catches (85), receiving yards (1,063) and touchdown receptions (eight) than any Rams player last year. With him in the fold, Stafford will top his passing numbers from the previous season (3,762 yards, 20 touchdowns and eight interceptions).
"As the 2024 campaign progressed, the Rams' young defense developed into a stout unit, giving up single-digit points in three of the last four regular-season games. Edge-rusher Jared Verse won 2024 Defensive Rookie of the Year, and Braden Fiske finished third in votes for the award.
"Los Angeles' budding defense will continue to grow, though play-caller Chris Shula must come up with a plan to patch up the boundary on the secondary. Last year, cornerback Darious Williams allowed a 101.7 passer rating, and Ahkello Witherspoon served as a part-time starter. Los Angeles should be interested in a reunion with Jalen Ramsey.
"Nonetheless, the Rams have the best roster in the division. With 11 victories, they will repeat as NFC West champions."
FOX Sports' Eric D. Williams: 12-5
"Sean McVay’s squad has nine road games this season, but only two against teams that reached the postseason last year. Nagging injuries have slowed frontline players like Matthew Stafford and Puka Nacua over the past two years, and those two stars need to stay healthy for the Rams to make a deep playoff run. The addition of veteran receiver Davante Adams and rookie tight end Terance Ferguson should add juice to L.A.’s passing game, and a young defensive front anchored by Jared Verse, Kobie Turner and Braden Fiske should take another leap in development in 2025. The Rams have won the NFC West four times in eight seasons and have reached the postseason six times since McVay took over as head coach. They are the team to beat in the division once again."
ESPN's Sarah Barshop
"The Rams will win at least seven of their last 10 games after the bye to end the season. Los Angeles has gone on a run to make the playoffs each of the past two seasons using similar surges, although both were necessary given their 3-6 (2023) and 1-4 (2024) starts to the past two seasons. The schedule sets up for a strong end to the 2025 season, especially with few potential cold-weather games."
The Athletic's Jourdan Rodrigue: 12-5
"This is a better football team after nailing two consecutive draft classes and plugging around those ascending young starters with a top quarterback in Stafford, and small but important fixes elsewhere such as along the defensive line."
Pro Football Network: 11-6
"The PFSN FPM (Football Playoff Meter) gives the Rams a healthy chance of winning their division (53.1%) and making the playoffs (83.1%). In fact, due to their favorable draw (despite the travel miles), the Rams have the best odds to land the NFC No. 1 seed of any team vying for that top spot.
"No team has improved its outlook more from the start of the offseason than the Los Angeles Rams.
"Sean McVay’s team looked like it might be headed for a rebuild while entertaining Matthew Stafford trade offers. Instead, Stafford is sticking around, and now gets to target one of the best receiver duos in the NFL with Davante Adams added to pair up with Puka Nacua.
"The Rams ranked 11th in PFSN’s Offense+ rankings last year despite Stafford finishing 22nd among quarterbacks. A more typical season from him could vault Los Angeles into the top-five range, and that might be even likelier if Terrance Ferguson (LA’s first selection of the 2025 draft) can make an impact out of the gates.
"The defense remains an extremely young unit that was boom-or-bust for much of 2024. However, the unit’s upside is higher than the 24th-place ranking would imply, particularly with a rapidly developing pass rush that piled up 16 sacks in two playoff games.
"The Rams look like clear NFC West favorites, with the upside to potentially return to the Super Bowl."
