Excellent film, expertly deglamorizing the old west into the chithole it actually was. Hanks, as always, is on his game here and newcomer Helena Zengel, as the 10 year old rescued from the Kiowas, is incredible. Like most movies, the plot is a tad predictable, but nothing big to diss in this movie and I agree with RT on the rating.

Well worth the $20 to stream.

I was really underwhelmed with this movie. It’s pretty predictable

even when there was a sense of danger it didn’t really make you feel it.

kind of paint by numbers movie
