Barça is set to kick off their Champions League campaign without their young sensation, Lamine Yamal.
A notable absentee against Valencia, Lamine Yamal was again missing from the pitch on Tuesday morning during the Blaugranas' group training session. He remained in the gym, and his availability for the Champions League clash against Newcastle is looking increasingly unlikely. Hansi Flick is expected to announce the squad list for the trip to St. James' Park tomorrow.
Marca had already reported yesterday that the Spanish prodigy would miss the highly anticipated showdown. On Tuesday, the Spanish daily reaffirmed the news. Lamine Yamal is not expected to travel to England—a major blow for Barça, who will have to cope without one of their key players.
