The New York Giants have signed running back Cam Skattebo, the last of their 2025 NFL draft class to sign their rookie contract.

Art Stapleton of USA TODAY and NorthJersey.com was the first to report the news.

Giants RB Cam Skattebo has signed his four-year, $5.271 million rookie contract, including a $1.1 million signing bonus, per sources.

The 5-foot-10, 219-pound Skattebo plays with attitude and an edge. While he lacks top-end speed, he's a true bruiser who can pick up first downs in short-yardage and score in goal-to-go situations.

"Physicality is definitely contagious. If someone gets ran over, it hypes the other guys up and gets them going. So I'm gonna continue to bring that and hopefully, it feeds off onto my teammates," he said after being drafted.

Skattebo reads blocks well and is a decisive runner with good balance, capable of breaking tackles and bouncing off defenders who fail to wrap up. He falls forward for extra inches and has a frame (and attitude) capable of wearing opposing defenses down.

In addition to his bruising prowess, Skattebo is also a skilled receiver, hauling in 69 receptions for 891 yards and four touchdowns over the past two seasons.

Despite his college success, Skattebo has remained humble.

"How many snaps of the NFL have you seen me play?" he said in May. "Zero, right? I've proved nothing. I've proved what I am in college, but I've proved nothing at this level. So now, where I'm at, I have to prove myself, and if that's for five years or if that's for 10 years, I'm going to continue to prove myself. I'm the best, do it for the longest, so continue to do that and just work my butt off until time comes."

Skattebo will compete for the backup role behind Tyrone Tracy Jr.
