New stadium exterior design

[Skkorpion]

to be unveiled tomorrow.

Sorry all, I've got 4 press releases to catch up on and I'm sure there will be more tomorrow.

Thanks to Madcardisease, endzone, and Chandler Mike for covering for me. Family business took precedence today for me. As jw7 mentioned, maybe I should go away more often.

[az643dp]

I can't wait to see it!

[CardsFan88]

Hopefully it isn't scaled down...The way it looked, was stylish and bada$$....

If they have made it better, then great...

[MadCardDisease]

From what I hear, the new design will make it one of the "Most Recognizable Structures in the Country".

[WizardOfAz]

Can't wait to see it - Should look good next to the hockey arena which is coming together nicely!

[SECTION 11]

If Peter Eisenman has anything to do with it, it'll be funky to be sure!

Eisenman is one of the world's foremost architects. I love the fact that he is handling the exterior design of the stadium - it definately will NOT be boring

[Brian in Mesa]

Anything will be an improvement over the toilet-bowl look we've seen up until now.

Instead of the wave...we'd do the FLUSH.

Don't make me go on my 'toilet bowl' rampage....

[TruColor]

Yeah, I can just imagine "Tidy" over at the AZCentral board gettin' all worked up at the thought of a toilet-bowl look...

[bratwurst]

Where are they going to put the design and when?

The only page I know about is this one

http://www.az-tsa.com/mpf/index.htm

No mention there of the unveiling today, so I am kinda curious.

[Skkorpion]

We'll get a TSA link up

when they get around to it. Probably by tomorrow.

Here is the press release. News conference is today at 2:30 PM.

[TruColor]

Just in the last few minutes, the TSA webmaster replaced the image of Jake with one of Marcel Shipp. Looks like something's happening...

I'm really disapointed - is this the best they could come up with????

I guess they REALLY need to keep the costs down...

Thanks - interesting design......

[kerouac9]

Is it just me, or does that design look a little too much like the one at the Cowboys stadium? Perhaps they're looking to fool the Cowboy fans into thinking they're in Dallas.

[Ryanwb]

It would have been more realistic looking if they took out all the "fans" in the seats

I didn't think that - if there ever was a Toliet Bowl, it would be Cowturd Stadium - that thing is the UGLIEST stadium from the outside.
