People get paid a lot of money to get come up with these designs. Blows my mind.

You have to understand, it isn't just one designer walking in and submitting a design, and someone saying "OK, let's go with that".

There are a LOT of people with a lot of different agendas putting their input into the creation of these things, and sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.

I don't have any confidence this new design will work however; gradients are usually a bad idea in practice.

This reminds me of the old saying..."a camel is a horse designed by committee".

Case in point - the Jaguars' awful fade to black helmet. It was a bad idea, made even worse by bad execution (it was barely a fade - it transitioned way too suddenly at an odd point in the middle of the helmet).

An improvement - I like jerseys kept simple

I don't like the ATL either. And they should have learned from TB who just nixed a similar font for the numbers.

View of the "gradient look" transition from jersey to pants.

Rumor is the Rams will be doing the same.

if they didn't put that massive "ATL" on them these would be pretty nice

This is what I expect the baggage handlers to wear when I land in the Atlanta airport. Hell, after this COVID thing is over, I may pick up a couple of jerseys and get a job in Atlanta on the runways just so I can run around and tackle random workers, and point to the ATL, screaming

"THAT STANDS FOR ATLANTA M***R F***R!!!"

Browns, Patriots, Rams and Chargers uniforms coming next...

...and apparently, some very minor Colts tweaks.
