Rookie Mykal Williams projected to win top rookie award​


The 49ers drafted EDGE Mykel Williams 11th overall this year. He is projected to be the league's Defensive Rookie of the Year.

Moody changing up approach​


Kicker Jake Moody had a rough 2024 season. It led the 49ers to sign veteran kicker Greg Joseph. Moody is now trying new things in the offseason to prepare for the season.

New punter​


The 49ers are shaking up their specialists. They released longtime punter Mitch Wishnowsky and signed Thomas Morstead.

Bryce Huff trade​
