This totally caught me off guard. What a tremendous opportunity for Steve Nash.

Wow! Hope things work out for him.

Nash's relationship with Durant may be one of the key ingredients.

Jacque Vaughn will be the lead coach and highest paid assistant in the NBA.

Steve Nash was always a coach on the court.

He’ll have his hands full with Kyrie but talent is talent. What a gig.

Before Monty, I would have been ecstatic if Nash had become head coach for the Suns.

The only reason it doesn't sting as much is having Monty. I know we reached out to him in the past when we had vacancies and he always said he wanted to be with his family. Nash always says how he loves Phoenix. You wonder why not here?

Maybe it's the timing or maybe it's the way Lon Babby promised to keep Nash only to discard him.

Discard him? Oh how quickly we forget. We kept Steve Nash at least a full year after we should have originally traded him. Our problem is that we held onto him too long. Don't alter history to fit the narrative that the Suns somehow did him wrong.

Would be nice to see the East get a real big dog if KD is even 85% of who he used to be, Nash has a ton of talent to work with. Three guys who can get their own shot against anyone with KD, Kyrie, Levert, Dimwiddle as a great sixth man and role players up the wazoo. would be nice t see the East get a legit Big Dog team that could actually compete with either the Clips or Lakers out west and maybe give us one more KD V. LeBron Finals Matchup.

I wonder how hard KD had to sell Nash on coaching Kyrie. He's the X-Factor there. Either he'll be the reason they're contending for a title or that Nash gets shown the door early. I'm leaning towards being shown the door early, unfortunately. I can't see Nash surviving his contract unless they trade Kyrie and the return for him won't be great so who knows what'll happen there. I do wish him luck though.
