Nebraska football wide receiver Jaidyn Doss entered the transfer portal on Wednesday morning. This was reported by multiple media outlets.
Doss committed to Nebraska in 2022 and played in four games as a redshirt freshman in 2023. He was able to start against Michigan State that year. He moved to defensive back in 2024 and played in one game.
All told, he spent two seasons in Lincoln, playing in a total of nine games. He had two catches during his time with the program. As a recruit, he was a three-star commit. He was the No. 14 overall player in his class from the state of Missouri per Rivals rankings.
The Huskers have an ample amount of depth at the wide receiver position, and the position itself may gain some clarity once fall camp begins. Doss has tremendous athleticism and breakaway speed and should be able to find a place to play.
