Ndjakalenga Mwenentanda, a transfer from Texas, has committed to Vanderbilt women's basketball, according to a report from On3's Talia Goodman.
The 6-foot-2 wing averaged 5.6 points and 2.9 rebounds in 17 minutes per game in 2024-25. She had a .461 field-goal percentage and a .768 free-throw percentage. She put up a strong performance with 19 points against Illinois in the second round of the NCAA tournament and recorded a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds against Mississippi State. She also recorded 34 assists, 21 blocks and 27 steals on the season.
Mwenentanda reported offers from LSU, Oklahoma and Tennessee among others on her social media. She is a graduate transfer who has one year of eligibility left after graduating from Texas in three years.
She is the second transfer portal addition for Shea Ralph's squad this offseason after landing Aalyah Del Rosario from LSU.
