The road to Omaha for the 2025 College World Series is officially underway after the full 64-school field was announced on Monday afternoon. Previously, the regional hosts had been announced on Sunday, but now the big picture has come into full focus.

The Vanderbilt Commodores edged out the Texas Longhorns for the No. 1 overall seed with an SEC Tournament victory. The whole conference is well represented among those playing in the postseason, with 13 of its 16 teams named to the NCAA baseball tournament bracket.

The Florida Gators are among them, earning a No. 2 seed in the Conway Regional where they will face the East Carolina Pirates to open things up. That matchup will be held at Springs Brooks Stadium in South Carolina.
