NBA unveils the three finalists for the Rookie of the Year award

Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball was announced one of three finalist for the Rookie of the Year award. Ball averaged 15.7 points, 6.1 assists, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.6 steals in 51 games in his first year with the Hornets. Ball was once viewed as the early favorite to win the award but the wrist injury that cost him 21 games opened the door for Edwards to win
