I think he was saying it wasn't awful. I'd personally give it a solid B. C+ for first half and A for the 2nd and OT.
An A? Man you are really generous.

Goodwin and Butler could barely get the ball across halfcourt without turning it over. The Suns in the 4th and OT didn't really win - they just were slightly less bad than the Nets bench guys - who were mostly rookies.

Man man has good hands, anyone notice when a ball ricochets he is quick to grab it out of the air. Like those shots that come up short and you have no time to react.

Butler is trying too hard to make the team, he’s still a bit selfish imo.

Maybe Richard’s get the start instead of Oso so we don’t start off bad again. Happened in the lakers and today’s game.

Oso was abused by Sharpe. He needs become stronger. Also Oso and ManMan shared two issues. For one, they were too easily tricked into jumps. They have to learn to stay on their feet and trust their length and reaction speed. And 2ndly, on PnR plays both only do fake screens that result in not much space gain and put a lot burden on the ball handlers. And we don't have true PGs.
What I liked most was their ability to adjust on D.

Mostly agree with your take, although I consider Collin Gillespie a true point guard.

I just got to watch the game. Flemming and Man Man both have that raw ability that shows upside ahead for both of them. Is Royce O'Neale and Jodan Goodwin the same player?

Booker not in A scorer rhythm yet.

That third quarter defense we showed, I hope that's more the norm than the first quarter slow start.
