My Rapid reactions of what I liked and didn’t.
I didn’t like

Suns shooting from 3 point land. Needs work. But Goodwin made the one that sealed the game!

I also didn’t like taking so many threes on the fast break. Take the ball to rim please.

First half defense. Woof it was bad.

What I liked

2nd half defense. We are going to need more of that throughout the season.

Crashing the offensive glass. It was beautiful. Also Kept us in the game. It’s a double edge sword but it worked.

Honorable mention
Oso didn’t play great, but didn’t play horrible. He had a chance on the fast to throw it down with his left hand but attempted a weird looking layup attempt. He got fouled on the play but still….

I like what I saw of both players. This is the first time I saw Fleming flash his ability.

Wish Man Man was more explosive, but he is a smart player, good passer and has a nice shooting touch. Things may come more natural with playing time.

So Brooklyn isn't a great team, but we aren't either. But even still, we came back from an 18-point deficit and pulled out an overtime victory. Which is pretty nice.

Wasn't counting on Maluach and Fleming to contribute a lot this season, but maybe they just might.

Both contributing would be a home run and we haven't even seen Brea.

Yeah that is what really bothers me, Maluwach seems to jump 3 inches off the ground when dunking or going for a rebound. He needs some of those vertical jump shoes or something.

Duane Rankin makes some good points about the game. The rookies stepped up and the defense created a lot of turnovers (32).

I think he was saying it wasn't awful. I'd personally give it a solid B. C+ for first half and A for the 2nd and OT.

Whatever Ott said at halftime, it worked masterfully. We were all over the place defensively.
