Nashville SC is back from a two-week break and ready for the second half of its season.

That starts with a tricky road test against the Chicago Fire on June 14 at Soldier Field (7:30 p.m.). While Nashville (8-4-5, 29 points) routed the Fire 7-2 at Geodis Park on April 26, the two sides have been among the strongest in MLS over the past month.

Nashville is on a 10-match unbeaten streak across all competitions and can break its franchise record with a win or tie against Chicago. NSC drew New York City FC 2-2 on May 31 in its most recent game. The Boys in Gold have risen to fourth in the Eastern Conference during their hot streak.

Chicago (7-5-4, 25 points) is second in the league in goals per game, only trailing Lionel Messi's Inter Miami. Under former United States men's national team coach Gregg Berhalter, the Fire have won six of their past seven games and are coming off a 7-1 win over D.C. United on June 7.
