The NASCAR Cup Series heads north to Michigan International Speedway for the FireKeepers Casino 400 on June 8.
Ryan Blaney became the third of three Penske drivers to lock into the NASCAR playoffs with his win at Nashville on June 1.
There are 12 more regular season races left this year, and good finishes at tracks like Michigan and Pocono will be key for drivers along the cutline with a run of road courses (and pack-racing at Atlanta) over the next six weeks.
Here are The Tennessean's expert picks for Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series race at Michigan:
I do not believe I have ever picked Dillon to win a race, but I like his chances at Michigan. He has run well there in his 11 starts and is certainly due a good race this week after a tough season that has not included a top-5 finish.
Logano is due for a return to victory lane at Michigan, and he's running well recently. And as Ryan Blaney mentioned post-Nashville, Michigan is an important race for Ford.
Buescher has a win at Michigan and needs to find a win somewhere to lock himself into the NASCAR Playoffs after his amended penalty from the Kansas race. He gets the win he needs in Ford's backyard.
