Umpire Bill Miller missed a big call in Friday's game between the Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins, then let out his frustration in a moment accidentally broadcast to America.

Miller initially called Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran safe at home after being driven in by an eighth-inning single, a play that extended Boston's lead to 7-1. But after review, it became clear that Duran was tagged out just ahead of the plate and the play was overturned to an out that ended the inning.

Miller announced to the stadium that the play was overturned, then gave himself a bit of self-criticism while the microphone was still on. He let out an F-bomb, which made it onto the television broadcast.

The moment caught some viral attention, with some fans actually praising the umpire for acknowledging his own mistake.

"Love that. Way to own it ump," one fan wrote on X.

"Honestly, it’s refreshing to see them like this," added another. "It’s baseball, an American pastime. It’s human."

The win moved the Red Sox to 18-16, two games behind the New York Yankees for the lead in the AL East.
