Here's what to know about where, when you can watch.

What is Banana Ball?

If you haven't come across the viral internet sensation yet, Banana Ball is a hybrid of dancing, baseball and theater that's fun for all ages. Sometimes they have celebrity guests, like when actor Patrick Renna, who portrayed Hamilton 'Ham' Porter in "The Sandlot" took a swing recently as The Great Hambino.

Players dance to popular songs in the field at every game. One guy even plays on stilts.

The small but mighty sport started with the Savannah Bananas. Now, Fans First Entertainment has three other teams:

How are these games different from baseball?

They use a custom ball.

The games have 11 unique rules compared to the traditional sport, including:

  • There's a 2-hour time limit.
  • The scoring system is different.
  • There's no bunting or you're thrown from the game.
  • Batters can steal first in some circumstances.
  • If a fan catches a foul ball, it's an out.
