Jurecki reports Minter to be held out for rest of pre-season with pec injury, and could go under the knife if he doesn't improve between now and season opener. With surgery would miss most of not all of season.

Keim was just on Doug and Wolfe this morning. He said they are holding Minter out as a precaution and are taking it slow. Keim said Minter is improving and they are working on his range of motion of his arm with regard to the peck injury at this time. Didn't want to put a time table on when Minter will be back as they want to make sure he is ready and they don't rush him back too early.

Injuries happen every year. It sucks to have happened to such a young player who has a big opportunity to make an impact this year. We will see how it plays out.

IMO, we have guys who can do what he does which makes this an easier injury to overcome for the team. Bernard, Foote, Alexander, Minter and Bishop all have pretty similar skill sets. I am really curious to see how Bishop progresses as he was a real player in Green Bay before he got injured.

it looks like the 2013 draft for arizona except for ellington and mathieu was terrible.
keim seems to be a better manager acquiring free agents with the right price then evaluating projects

I wouldnt call cooper terrible yet. Or Watford. Or Minter, getting hurt doesnt make it a terrible pick. Okafor has looked very good since his injury.

The only terrible picks were DC jefferson and Ryan Swope IMO. The rest are starter quality, quality depth or have just had bad luck with injuries.

I don't get it if it's that bad they'd know torn pecs and some mysterious injury... If torn he's done... What's the dilemma

Whaaaat? How can you expect a GM to evaluate whether or not a player is going to suffer a freaky and debilitating injury in the years after he is drafted?

I agree Shane, if it's torn he's more than likely done!

Wow things are like snowballing unlucky wise.

As Wolf says "ding done the witch is done". Lol Hey we went to the SB with a dynamic passing game & a hit & miss D once before...time to repeat history! :D

no team has ever won the super bowl because of their ILBs

I think the Ravens/Bucs/Bears would quibble with that statement.

reality is we lost the middle of our defense... which was the stregnth of the defense last year... and it looks like we're now faced with losing the guy who was supposed to replace one of the two. That's going to seriously hurt no matter how anyone slices it.

It's one thing for guys to be bust because there lazy or just can't cut it its a whole other thing for guys to get hurt. Injuries are so unpredictable. You can't count someone's body failing them as a bust.
