The Michigan State women's basketball program landed an Arizona State player from the transfer portal for the second straight offseason.

Jalyn Brown announced her commitment to coach Robyn Fralick and the Spartans on her X account April 14.

Brown was the leading scorer for Arizona State and averaged 18.0 points and 4.0 rebounds as a junior while earning honorable mention All-Big 12 honors. The Baltimore native and 6-foot-1 guard made 34 3-pointers and shot 81.3% from the free-throw line in her second season with the Sun Devils.

Brown, who began her college career at Louisville, follows in the footsteps of Jaddan Simmons, who transferred from Arizona State to MSU for her final season of eligibility last offseason. Brown and Simmons were teammates at Arizona State in the 2023-24 season..

Brown marked the second new addition for the Spartans from the transfer portal this offseason. MSU added former Purdue guard Rashunda Jones on April 13.
