Michigan State softball concluded their 2025 season this past weekend with a road trip to Oregon. The Spartans dropped two-of-three to the top ranked Ducks, dropping their season record to 16-29.

While it wasn't the season that the Spartans wanted, they did have a massive boost from their senior third baseman Kaelin Cash. For her outstanding play in 2025, Cash has been named to the Big Ten's All-Conference second team.

On the season, Cash slashed a .376 batting average to go along with eight home runs, all while leading the team in hits, RBIs and total bases.

Cash, a transfer from Saint Joseph's, missed her junior season in East Lansing with an injury, but made her first season in the green and white count. The Spartans are hopeful to get one more year out of their standout infielder.
