Right behind Fitzgerald that amazing freshman WR from Pitt and Willis McGahee. I absolutely love Gerald Hayes and was amazed he was not gobbled up earlier. Every game I saw of Pitt and they seemed to be on ESPN quite a bit last season left me very impressed.

The Cards got themselves a player in Gerald Hayes. He reminds me a little bit of Kendrell Bell. It is kind of interesting that the Cards drafted a 3-4 end (Calvin Pace), 2 inside backers (Hayes and Gilbert) and another DT who projects to be a strong side or 3-4 end in Kenny King.

I don't think it will happen - at least as our base defense - but you may be onto something - teams like Baltimore are said to be converting to the 34, and you know how the herd mentality works in the NFL.

My only question - where would Wendell line up? - at RDE with King on the other side and Pace playing ROLB? (Or vice versa?) Couldn't Fisher or Ray Thompson also be good edge-rushers from the ROLB spot?
