I'm just not going to agree that Jalen Hurts was along for the ride in that Super Bowl run. You don't have to be a great QB to win in the playoffs, but you have to be good enough. Hurts has shown he can be good enough; Kyler hasn't.
the Cards have been in no mans land with Kyler

enough stretches to make you believe, not consistent enough to seal the deal.

Have there been mitigating circumstances? No question. It all just means we are in the Nth year in a row of "Kyler has a lot to prove this year"

this is the best total roster he has been on since 2021. Lets hope they stay healthy enough to get a clean look at this team.

Least season we had the #6 rushing offense by yards, #8 in TDs, and #2 in YPC. The running game isn't getting much better, and Kyler was still hella mid last year.

Monti built the defense this off season & I'm hoping Trey Benson takes off in year 2, if the defense ends up being top 10 & our running game is even better, we should be right in the mix of things. I'm just ready for the season to start.

A handful of reps in a no contact practice at the beginning of training camp doesn’t indicate anything. We don’t know what the focus of the training session is or what they’re asking anyone to work on.

These reports are #content and for educational purposes only. Don’t draw any conclusions from them.

I just wish Kyler was taller, could see over the line & not get herky jerky when the pocket collapses lol. All jokes aside, a strong defense & running game does wonders for a QB. A strong running game allows Kyler to bootleg & see the field which is a positive, however, he needs to quit making the boneheaded throws. Can he win a SB, only time will tell, Lord I hope so.
If we are wishing for alternative universes I wish kyler was a young tom Brady.

Well this sounds awful

Our Oline isnt bad. Yet the new additions to our defensive front are making them "Look" bad.... that can only be a positive.
Not to mention, practicing every day against superior players will only make them work harder and get better.

the only possible negative in this is if the oline has regressed due to the loss of clayton adams... but one is assuming such regression would not be evident less than two weeks into training camp.

and on the flip side, even with the red jersey on I would like for kyler to start feeling the heat even in camp....practicing with it will help him overcome it during the season

Defense is always ahead of the offense to start training camp, the offense is learning to run plays as to the defense reacting to those plays. I'm stoked about the new DL because last year our DL wasn't very good. I'm hearing D-Rob is tearing it up in practice & out to prove doubters wrong, this could possibly take a little sting out of the Nolen injury. Having a strong DL can only make our OL work harder which is a plus imo. Eventually the offense will start looking better.

I said it when he was drafted and I am sticking to it today, Murray was a high floor, low ceiling draft pick.

For decades we heard one group or another looks awesome in camp. Then they stink in the regular season just because the great camp reports were due to playing ourselves. And this isn’t reports lauding the defense, it’s reports of the offense stinking. Occam’s razor, my friend, Occam’s razor until proven otherwise.

That said, it’s early in camp. I don’t take much from reports at this point.

I been seeing slightly different takes from camp visitors.
a few in particular were very adamant that Darius Robinson was an absolute beast...not just explosive as a gallon of nitro...but completely dominant from a strength perspective.

Reports were also adamant that Harrison was a beast in camp also last season. Preseason reports of various Cardinals being lauded is a tale as old as time.
