I already admitted cowardice when it comes to doing a mock draft. I’ve had a good opportunity to speak to several talent evaluators who had mostly the same take on this year’s mocks. There will be little if any agreement after the top 5 picks. In fact, even when ranking players by position, there is little consensus. One of the issues this presents is it’s just as hard for teams. I mention this because we’ll soon start getting many questions about trading up or down. So teams have to guess whether their desired players will fall to them. This is always somewhat the case but this season everything seems more uncertain. I think this will impede trades because more teams will gamble on a player falling to them. I also think teams will feel less rigid about their board rankings. This will be a very unusual draft. I was asked earlier if I felt it was worth trading up to get Jermaine Johnson. I just don’t know what number a team would have to trade up to, so they would be assured of getting him. They don’t know either. So there may be small moves, but beyond that I’m not expecting teams jumping all over the place. There might be one or two who love a player so much they can’t resist, but I think those will be the exception

There is one gaurantee…Keim has about a 97.3% chance of picking the wrong guy. He is pathetic.
