The Las Vegas Aces have released two players from their training camp roster, bringing their total down to 14 as they prepare for the 2025 WNBA season.
Rookie guard Harmoni Turner and veteran center Queen Egbo were waived on Wednesday, the team confirmed on X.
The Aces selected Turner in the third round of the 2025 WNBA Draft after a standout career at Harvard. She averaged 18.5 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game in college, earning a reputation as a reliable scorer and playmaker.
In her preseason debut with the Aces, Turner played 11 minutes against the Phoenix Mercury, scoring four points and grabbing a rebound and a steal.
Despite showing potential, Turner did not make the final roster cut. With limited roster space and fierce competition, the Aces chose to move in a different direction.
Also released was 24-year-old Queen Egbo, a center who entered the league as the 10th overall pick in the 2022 WNBA Draft. Egbo joined the Aces late last season and appeared in just four games.
She signed a training camp deal in February but played only seven minutes across two preseason games, recording four rebounds, two assists and two steals without scoring.
Egbo’s journey in the WNBA has seen her wear several jerseys. She has played for the Indiana Fever, Washington Mystics, Connecticut Sun and Los Angeles Sparks.
WNBA teams are required to finalize their rosters to a maximum of 12 players by May 15. The Aces still have 14 players in camp, which means at least two more cuts are expected in the coming days.
