Maybe? Seems premature to use the term ace when discussing Weaver. I would like to see him return from the injury and pitch consistently for a long period of time before anointing him the "ace".

It will be interesting to see how it unfolds.

Good post, for a couple of reasons. First, MadBum was brought here to be our ace. Let's not be quick to throw that away.

And, as you said, we don't want to skip steps with someone who has potential. One step at a time. Which, right now, is
returning from injury. It is amazing how the 21st Century has brought the mentality of expecting instant success versus
working to earn (and learn) it.
