My brother has liver cancer. Not looking good.
I went to Montana to see him a couple of weeks ago. We had some old wounds that
needed healing. It's all good, we love each other.
Very sorry to hear
Sorry to hear this sad news.
My father who recently passed away was dealing with gallbladder cancer. He had a drinking problem most of his life and the family was sure it was liver cancer. When we found out it was a different kind we were all shocked. How the hell could a man that had drank so much during his life have anything but Liver cancer?
The doctor told us the same thing that Liver cancer was on the rise which is why we were in shock considering his life style.
Cancer sucks and now both my parents have had to deal with it. Makes me wonder about my own chances but tell your doctor your entire family history. It's so important as my Doctor now does regular screening especially since I am getting older. I want to be here on earth as long as possible to experience life with my kids and someday my grandkids.
So how is your brother doing now?
He passed away in December. Very nice of you to ask. Thank you
Sorry to hear that. My dad just passed away recently from complications of his cancer as well. The disease sucks!
I posted about this in Things That Suck thread. It's the 2nd brother I've lost to alcoholism. Liver cancer is a long, slow, painful and agonizing ordeal.
Sorry about your father, too. You're right, it does suck.
