LIV Golf Michigan: Jon Rahm stuns Bryson DeChambeau in epic playoff for team championship

Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton outdueld Bryson DeChambeau and Paul Casey on the second playoff hole to win the LIV Golf Michigan Team Championship to give their Legon XIII team $14 million split four ways.

Their teammates Caleb Surratt and Tom McKibbin cheered them on after the team tied Crushers GC following 18 holes of stroke play Sunday, Aug. 24, at The Cardinal at Saint John's Resort in Plymouth Township.

Hatton's clutch birdie on No. 18 in regulation tied the score, and both Rahm and DeChambeau birdied No. 18 to force extra holes.

Both Hatton and DeChambeau made birdie on the first extra hole, and Hatton and Rahm both birdied it the second time, after Casey's long putt just missed and DeChambeau's chipped was wide.

DeChambeau shot 8-under 62 through 18 holes.
