Eh, I don't know about that Ouchie. I think there is certain Article I courts where your knowledge would be invaluable. A little brush up on the evidence, being put in the right situation, and a transactional attorney would do well adjudicating disputes.

    Story from the trenches:

Preparing for trial. Fun case. Opposing counsel (who is not a dickwad and is competent - my favorite type of OC) and I work for hours preparing a joint pretrial memorandum (the bible for the Judge at trial). He sends me his last edits the day it's due to be filed, I incorporate them, then ask him for permission to affix his e signature.

    No response.

Now, I'm just sitting at my desk for another 20 minutes (because I gave him that long to respond), and then I have to change everything to an individual memo, which means he did not file his memo, and thus is in trouble with the judge (maybe. Probably not).

My man, that's what you get for leaving at 3:00 p.m. on a Friday. This is litigation. Not probate / family law.

Let’s put it this way, my LL.M. is in taxation. Likely makes me best suited for Federal Tax Court. Shoot me.

Counsel, never publicly offer to have another shoot you. There are too many citizens willing to do so.

Sounds like you hold tax court in the same esteem as I hold family court.

The only court I hold in lower esteem is immigration court.

I hope this doesn't make everyone feel this is the thing that normally occurs within these centers. So much research and education is dependent on having access to bodies. They do no one any benefit by getting buried or cremated.

I was wondering where Popeye's found a way to fulfill their sandwich shortage. This solves it.

Well, I learned that the scientific term for a bunch of penises is a “cooler,” so there’s that.
