Does anybody else see those numbers inverting this season? I could see Shipp getting around 200 carries, and Emmitt around 250+. If that were the case, both guys would be close to 1,000 each.
The last time that was done was actually fairly recently, I believe, by Denver with Olandis Gary and Terrell Davis.
Running the heck out of the ball would be well suited to our O-line and new fullback, and would play into Jeff Blake's strength - run for 5 plays straight, then play-action a bomb.
