Las Vegas Aces Make A'ja Wilson Announcement After Historic Game originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
The Las Vegas Aces made it two wins in a row on Sunday night with a 75-70 victory over the Seattle Storm.
A'ja Wilson had another strong outing, scoring a team-high 19 points on 9-of-22 shooting, to go along with seven rebounds, three assists, three steals and four blocks in 35 minutes of action.
It wasn't exactly a mind-blowing performance from the reigning WNBA Most Valuable Player, but Wilson was still able to make history thanks to her activity on the defensive end.
According to StatMamba on X, Wilson has tied 10-time All-WNBA forward-center Candace Parker for the second-most games in league history with at least three steals and three blocks.
The Aces took to Instagram shortly after the game to make an announcement about their star. Las Vegas dubbed Wilson as the "Queen of the Game" after her historic performance against the Storm.

After Sunday's win, the Aces have improved to 4-2 on the season. As of writing, they are fifth in the WNBA, trailing the Atlanta Dream by just half a game.
Wilson and Co. aren't scheduled to play until Saturday, giving them five full days of rest before they travel to the Bay Area to face the Golden State Valkyries at Chase Center.

For her part, Wilson is in the midst of another big season in her eighth year with the Aces. If she is able to keep her foot on the gas, the two-time WNBA champ will be in contention yet again for the MVP award, which could potentially be her fourth.
